Critical funding for the Northern New Jersey Council ability to deliver program and maintain infrastructure is through family and corporate foundations. The funding the Northern New Jersey Council receives from corporations and foundations helps empower the next generation of leaders.
The Northern New Jersey Council has devoted resources into programs that provide youth with the opportunity to participate in the Scouting program no matter their financial situation.
We serve some of New Jersey’s largest and most under-served urban communities including Newark, Jersey City and Paterson, as well as portions of Passaic, Union City and West New York. The programs we deliver are traditional Scouting, STEM ( science, technology, engineering and mathematics) and career experiences and mentorship opportunities through our Exploring program.
The council’s infrastructures, such as camps, office space, equipment and technology are an important part of delivering safe and enriching program to all our youth. These long-term and short-term investments helps in our ability to serve and engage with our youth, families and volunteers in our communities.
Corporations
Benefits of corporate sponsorship may include recognition at our events, on our website, and via our social media efforts and be customized to meet the needs of the sponsoring organization in conjunction with Northern New Jersey Council. We value financial support as well as volunteerism and mentorship.
